Disney buys our show!
Great news on the eve of Comicon 2014! WAC, the World Animal Championships, the show that I voiced all these crazy creatures on has been bought by the Walt Disney company UK.
This is a massive win for our show created and written by legendary TV genius Alex Mavroidakis. Alex is also one of the brains behind another show I work on called Big Brother.
WAC is Produced by Blacklab Entertainment Brisbane has been a smash hit on ABC kids Australia.
The show puts animals against each other to find the loudest, smelliest, strongest, funniest, weirdest animals in the world.
I think I ended up doing about 50 different voices for the show that is now going to be seen on UK Disney.

I have to do a special shout out to superstar producer Vanessa Oxlad who was one of the shows producers that pushed for me to do all the voices with Angela Walsh another Brisbane voice artist/movie producer.
Of course well done has to go to Tim McGahan, Nick Hopkin and the team at Black Lab, Alex Mavroidikis for creating such an awesome show and the legend animators, producers and editors at Cutting Edge Brisbane.

Grant Goldman 50 years in Radio
He has won international and local radio awards and has one of the longest running nationally syndicated breakfast shows.
Not to mention being the voice of Sky Channel, the official voice of the Sydney 2000 Olympics and the Manly Sea Eagles ground announcer for over thirty years. GO MANLY!!

Dad taught me everything there is to know about radio and television, how to use a microphone, how to promote myself, how to sell promotional use only CD’s on E Bay.
I can honestly say I have never met anyone in the industry who always had such a positive attitude at all times.
One of the more fun jobs Ive had over the years was working in the studio next to him hosting the Gorilla radio breakfast show while dad was hosting his show in the studio next door.
He would pop in on my show and vice versa. All sorts of crazy shit would happen. Dad would just barge in while in the middle of a talk break, “whats going on here?” If digital radio took off in Australia I
would have stayed.
Yep he’s my dear old dad Grant Goldman, on radio every morning on 2SM from 5 till 9am and something you may not know. He also recorded about a million voiceovers for the Sydney train stations.
Someone then got hold of these announcements and messed with them a little.

It’s been a big night of drinking, dancing and texting people your swore you wouldn’t. That works up a healthy appetite. Heres what people eat at that ungodly hour when drunken face feeding is called for.
Brother from another mother
Australia’s most watched house is empty so Big Bro needs you to live in it for a while and maybe win some cash.
If you get in you could well become a household name and get to do fun things like Dreamworld appearances.
Last year I had to fill in for a celebrity housemate who couldn’t do the full day of appearances in the spare diary room chair just outside the Big Brother amphitheatre.
I was like Santa Claus but without the presents. The letdown on kids faces is burnt into my mind.
“Mum, what happened to Benjaman, I want the funny housemate, who’s this guy”, they would say.
The mums knew, they remembered my shows, “Friday Night Live” and “Big Brother Up Late” god bless them.
If you want to be on on the 2014 edition heres my tips for auditions :
Be yourself
Dont bite your tongue
Stand out
If anyone is a big mouth stand up to them
Talk to other people you don’t know auditioning
Wash yourself properly before going to auditions
Eat and take some food and drink to auditions
Bring a pillow
Bring a tea towel
Sing loudly while waiting
Speak in a made up language the whole time
Actually I really have no Idea if any of those tips will help. One good idea is to take chocolate bars and give them to the executive producers as a bribe. Especially the chubby pommy one, he loves chocolate.
BUT SERIOUSLY
This is by far the biggest and most successful television show in the world. 14 years since we started and still pumping in over 40 countries.
Every year a different show, with different people, love affairs, insults, shocks, tears, fights, laughs, different tasks and challenges. PLUS the stunning Sonia Kruger hosting up a storm. Oh and of course yours truly will be there voice-overing and doing my thing at the live shows. Come and say hello!!

Get Ready for a BB Showdown
We’re back baby!
Theres a Big Brother Saturday night show that will be on for the first four weeks of the series called “Showdown”.
This will impact the housemates time in the house like never before. It’s hosted by the adorable Shelly Craft with crafty housemate Michael and arts and craft expert Mike Goldman. Yes, thats me, sorry to go off topic but I love arts and craft.
So the Brotherhood have succeeded, the games are back.
I wonder if this means I’ll get back my Ed Hard sponsorship deal from 2003.
Maybe not, but either way I’m super excited about being a part of the new gameshow on Big Brother that is SHOWDOWN.
Monday the 29th of July there will be 12 new housemates who will be in and halfway out.
Within the house lays the first new twist.
